Radford University Honors Academy
Message from the Director
The Honors Academy provides academic opportunities for motivated and intellectually mature students and recognizes outstanding student achievement. The Academy includes the honors curriculum and a residential community in Floyd and Peery Residence Halls. The RU Honors Academy exists as an instantiation of as close to an ideal "community of learners" as possible, that fosters collaborative scholarship, both between students as well as between students and faculty. The Honors Academy also promotes intercultural experiences, including study abroad, and leadership opportunities as integral components of an Honors Education at Radford University.
